Common Services

ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT Area:

This area will house the Main Building of the Parque de la Innovación de Navarra (currently under construction), which will contain the main offices and general facilities for companies. It will be equipped to help develop actions that will favour technology transfer, the exchange of ideas and knowledge among people. The key services foreseen in the Main Building are given below:

• Auditorium with audiovisual and telecommunication systems: video projection, videoconference, simultaneous interpretation, recording of events, etc.
• Exhibition Hall with different supplementary elements (meeting area, reception desk, documentation delivery room, cloakroom).
• Videoconference Room, with capacity for five people, with advanced audiovisual and recording means, etc.
• Different sized rooms/halls for meetings, seminars and presentations, able to adapt to all needs and with a capacity from 4 up to 100 people.
• Boardroom for 16 people, with Anteroom, Cloakroom and private toilets.

As from 2008 the following services will also be offered in this area:

• Nursery: exclusively for children of people working in the entities located in the area. It will have places for 106 children and the hours will adapt to the employees’ shifts.
• Café and restaurant: the project includes the creation of a café-restaurant with a dining-room for up to 750 people.

Now and until the main building is finished, the National Centre for Renewable Energies offers entities of this area the possibility of using its meeting hall as well as classrooms and meeting rooms that are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Requests for using these facilities must be made in advance, using the existing booking mechanisms at CENER in order not to coincide with own events organised by CENER.

BIOSANITARY Area:

This has a dining-room located on the Navarra University campus.

Now and until the main building is finished, the Applied Medical Research Centre (CIMA) offers entities of this area the possibility of using its meeting hall as well as classrooms and meeting rooms that are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Requests for using these facilities must be made in advance, using the existing booking mechanisms at CIMA in order not to coincide with own events organised by CIMA.

NANOBIOTEC Area:

This has a dining-room located on the Navarra Public University campus.

Now and until the main building is finished, the Institute of Agrobiotechnology (IDAB) offers entities of this area the possibility of using its meeting hall as well as classrooms and meeting rooms that are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Requests for using these facilities must be made in advance, using the existing booking mechanisms at IDAB in order not to coincide with own events organised by IDAB.

Technology-Based Innovative Enterprises (EIBTs):

This has a dining-room located in the European Business Innovation Centre (CEIN).

Now and until the main building is finished, both the Multidisciplinary Centre for Innovation and Technology of Navarra (CEMITEC) and the European Business Innovation Centre (CEIN) offer entities of this area the possibility of using their meeting hall as well as classrooms and meeting rooms that are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Requests for using these facilities must be made in advance, using the existing booking mechanisms at CEMITEC and CEIN in order not to coincide with own events organised by CEMITEC and CEIN.

Resources of CEIN SA:

• 2 auditoriums with a capacity for 60 and 150 people, respectively.
• 3 classrooms, one of them equipped with 15 computers.
• 6 meeting rooms, one of them prepared as a boardroom.
