Introduction

The CIFA is an entity of the University of Navarra, whose goal is the Research, Development and Innovation of medicines and their environment (chemical and microbiological contaminations in foodstuff, toxicology, etc.), with the collaboration of industry.
The CIFA has experience in work with Spanish and international companies on different continents. Its collaboration with industry is based on projects. Its researchers include all the researchers of the University of Navarra. Its work methodology permits forming highly specialised groups comprised of professionals from different fields that have specific scientific goals. The centre has a Quality Assurance Unit (UGC) and it has the Certificate from the Government of Navarra, registering compliance with the BPL principles required by Spanish law.
