Introduction

Digna Biotech is a biotechnological company based on the development and exploitation of research products generated at the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) of Pamplona.

The company comes from a joint venture between the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) of the University of Navarra, pertaining to the Foundation for Applied Medical Research (FIMA), and a group of investors that include some of the major Spanish companies. It is strongly consolidated in Navarra, as its partners include the University of Navarra, Caja Navarra, Caja Rural de Navarra and the Government of Navarra through SODENA.

The goal of Digna Biotech is to perform preclinical and clinical tests, as well as to carry out the documentation process for existing products, in order to be able to obtain licence agreements with commercial companies of the sector (pharmaceutical laboratories).
