Introduction

Activity description: Ecoenergía Sistemas Alternativos promotes projects for treating large volumes of waste both of animal origin and from the food and agriculture industry, benefiting from its elimination as it converts a serious environmental problem into an opportunity for the integral use of waste, obtaining energy, water, fodder, fertiliser, etc.

Its main showcase is located at the swine liquid manure treatment plant of Artajona, (Econergía Navarra).

Outstanding facilities and infrastructures: Laboratory at liquid manure treatment plant in Artajona. Drying room, evaporator and reverse osmosis equipment, on semi-industrial scale for experimentation purposes.

Research lines: Treatment of waste both from the stockbreeding sector and from the food and agriculture industry, for its subsequent reduction, elimination and recovery.
